We are back to our home reservoir that we know and love! Our Dolls placed in the Women’s B Consolation and our Dolls & Dudes were in the Mixed C Finals. We beat our own best times and finished strong. Thank you so much for cheering us on, and thank you so much to our sponsor, OBC (Outside Broadcast Canada) for our coordinated hats - we are looking sharp!
Parkland Dragon Boat Festival - July 11
This was our first time competing in Parkland, and it was an incredible festival. Unfortunately we got rained out before the finals, but we performed strong and had fun. See you next year, Parkland!
Lethbridge Dragon Boat Festival - June 27 & 28
Our season kicked off with the Lethbridge Festival. It was an incredible Saturday of sunshine and paddling. The weather turned on Sunday and the final races were cancelled so results are TBD. Thank you to everyone who came out to support us.
2026 Season Practices
Our competitive season has wrapped up, but we will be on the water practicing until the end of September. If you are interested in trying out a paddle with our team reach out to us.
2026 Water Wars
Hosted by Calgary Dragon Boat Society, Water Wars pits teams against one another in a “tug of war” style competition to challenge stamina and strength. (March 2026)
Volunteering with Second Harvest
We love to support our community and routinely support Second Harvest. This charity helps redistribute food waste to persons experiencing food insecurity. Thanks to our fabulous volunteers for making this happen.
2025 Penticton Dragon Boat Festival
Held over two days on the second weekend in September, the racing happens on Skaha Lake in beautiful, sunny, Penticton, British Columbia, Canada at the best festival site in BC — a sandy beach and a race that’s visible for the entire race course — and a large grassy area under the trees for team tents. (Sept 6-7, 2025)
